This concurrent resolution proposes a constitutional amendment for the state of Missouri that would change how revenue generated from the state's natural resources is distributed. Specifically, it would require any state department managing natural resources to send twenty-five percent of that revenue to the county where the resources are located or removed. The resolution also allows the state legislature to create laws detailing how this remittance to counties should happen and includes a provision that the sales and use taxes described in sections 43(a) to 43(c) of the constitution would be subject to voter reapproval every ten years after their initial approval by voters. This measure is to be voted on by the public at the general election in November 2026 or a special election called by the governor.
