This bill amends the Human Rights Act to specifically prohibit antisemitic discrimination, defining "antisemitic" as a perception of Jewish people that manifests as hatred, including verbal and physical actions directed at Jewish people, those perceived as Jewish, their property, or Jewish community institutions and religious facilities. The bill makes it unlawful for any person, employer, labor organization, employment agency, public accommodation, or public body to engage in such discrimination, and allows individuals who believe they have been subjected to antisemitic discrimination to file a claim under the existing Human Rights Act.
