The bill also specifies that PAs cannot delegate tasks requiring their own professional judgment in patient care assessment or planning, and it outlines the responsibilities of ambulatory outpatient clinics in training and verifying CMA competency, especially for medication administration. Additionally, it updates the recognized certifying bodies for CMAs and grants the Board of Physician's Assistants the authority to create rules regarding delegated tasks.
