This bill modifies the Utah Construction Trades Licensing Act by expanding the list of approved continuing education providers for contractor licensees. Additionally, it allows for continuing education courses to be offered by state executive branch agencies, workers' compensation insurance carriers, or accredited in-state colleges and universities. The bill also mandates that HVAC contractors must complete at least three of their six required continuing education hours directly related to HVAC systems. Finally, this bill will take effect on May 6, 2026.
