This resolution, passed by the Florida Senate, recognizes and commends Moffitt Cancer Center for its 40th anniversary. The center provides multidisciplinary care to over 100,000 unique patients annually, has expanded its services significantly over the years, and has grown from 400 employees to over 10,000, contributing nearly $3 billion to the economy. Moffitt also plays a vital role in training future medical professionals and is dedicated to advancing cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment through groundbreaking research and collaborative efforts.
