This resolution designates January 27, 2026, as Civil Air Patrol Day at the Legislature, recognizing the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) as the official auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force and commending the West Virginia Wing of CAP for its vital homeland security missions, including search and rescue and disaster relief operations, as well as its drug demand reduction programs and educational initiatives for youth in areas like cyber defense and aviation. The resolution also directs the Clerk to send a copy of this designation to the West Virginia Wing of the Civil Air Patrol.
