This bill amends Title 7 of the Delaware Code concerning game and fish regulations by expanding the list of animals considered "game animals" to include skunk and weasel, and by modifying the definition and specifications for muzzle-loading rifles and handguns used for hunting, including changes to caliber, case length, and the addition of primers as an ignition source. It also clarifies rules for hunting with handguns and rifles, allowing their use during specific seasons and in certain areas, and prohibits remote-controlled weapon systems for hunting. Furthermore, the bill revises Sunday hunting regulations to permit hunting of game birds and animals on Sundays under various conditions, such as dog training, red fox hunting with dogs, commercial game preserve operations, established hunting seasons, private land at landowner discretion, designated public lands, and deer depredation programs, while otherwise maintaining the prohibition on Sunday hunting. Finally, it removes the restriction on hunting raccoons and opossums on Sundays in certain counties and allows the use of a .22 caliber rimfire pistol for hunting these animals.
