This bill amends existing Idaho law concerning driver's training, specifically the Parent-Student On-Road Driver's Training program. Now, eligible students can receive in-car observation and behind-the-wheel instruction from a qualifying parent or legal guardian, provided the student completes the required classroom instruction online through an approved program, such as the Idaho Digital Learning Alliance. A qualifying parent or guardian must possess a valid Idaho driver's license, have a clean driving record for the past two years, and maintain this record throughout the student's training.
