This resolution formally recognizes "The Links, Incorporated Day at the State Capitol" on February 26, 2026, welcoming members of the Kentucky chapters of this international nonprofit organization. The Links, Incorporated, established in 1946, is a significant volunteer service organization composed of over 17,000 professional women of color across 299 chapters globally, dedicated to the unity, friendship, and service, with a particular focus on the economic and cultural enrichment of African Americans and other persons of African descent. Its members are influential leaders and decision-makers who contribute over a million documented hours of community service annually, and the organization has been recognized for its premier programs and has promoted civic engagement. The resolution directs the Clerk of the Senate to send a copy of this recognition to Senator Gerald Neal.
