This resolution congratulates and commends Niki Vanderslice for receiving the 2026 Yellow Rose Nikki T. Randall Servant Leadership Award, an honor established by the Georgia Women's Legislative Caucus to recognize outstanding women who embody the leadership and inspiration of Representative Nikki T. Randall, the first African American female elected to the General Assembly from middle Georgia. The resolution highlights Vanderslice's extensive career in community and economic development, including her current role as President and CEO of the Fayette County Development Authority and previous positions with the Technical College System of Georgia's Quick Start program, Georgia EMC, the Georgia Department of Community Affairs, and downtown development in Valdosta and Douglas, as well as her service on the Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College Foundation Board and the Fayette Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, all of which demonstrate her commitment to fostering sustainable growth and enhancing the quality of life for citizens, making her an exemplary servant leader deserving of this recognition.
