Additionally, the study will estimate the state's costs associated with acquiring any federally managed lands in the gooseberry narrows, developing the necessary infrastructure for a state park, and constructing the proposed dam and reservoir. The findings of this study must be reported to the Natural Resources, Agriculture, and Environment Interim Committee by November 30, 2026, and the bill will become effective on May 6, 2026.
