This resolution, a Senate Resolution from Indiana, honors the professionals of the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force for their vital work. The ICAC Task Force, established nationally in 1998 by the U.S. Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) to combat technology-facilitated child exploitation, is a multi-agency effort overseen in Indiana by the State Police. This task force investigates and prosecutes individuals who use the internet to sexually exploit or entice children, and it also encourages the public to report such crimes to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. In 2025 alone, the Indiana ICAC Task Force processed over 22,500 reports, contributing to a national total of nearly 90,000 arrests. The resolution formally thanks these professionals for their service and directs the Secretary of the Senate to send copies of this resolution to the Indiana State Police.
