The bill also establishes an annual renewal fee would of $1,000 regardless of the food store's square footage. Under the bill, 25 percent of the initial and annual fee would be allocated to the Director of the Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control and the remaining 75 percent of the fee would be allocated to the governing body of the municipality in which the licensed premises is located. The bill also establishes a $1,000 annual renewal fee regardless of the food store's square footage to be divided equally between the division and the municipal governing body.
