This bill amends Arizona law regarding temporary vehicle registration plates, requiring that each temporary plate issued or used in the state must have a uniform design and format. These plates must clearly and indelibly display the date of issuance and expiration, along with the vehicle's make and vehicle identification number, and should not show the purchaser's name or address in a way that's visible from outside the vehicle. Furthermore, the bill mandates that temporary plates must be easily legible from 100 feet away during daylight, use contrasting colors and font sizes similar to regular license plates (as provided for in section 28-2351), be made of durable materials to withstand weather and driving conditions for their entire period of use, and be securely attached to the vehicle so they are clearly visible from the outside.
