This program will include publishing information on NJ Transit's website and on Access Link vehicles, which is a paratransit service providing door-to-door transportation for eligible individuals with disabilities. The bill mandates that NJ Transit hold at least one information session per month across the state in accessible locations, ensuring transportation to these sessions is available, and conduct a public awareness campaign to reach as many mobility-dependent individuals as possible. Additionally, the executive director of NJ Transit can implement other appropriate activities to support the program's goals, and NJ Transit must coordinate with the Commissioner of Transportation. Finally, NJ Transit is required to submit an annual report to the Governor and the Legislature detailing the program's activities.
