The audit must include an analysis of the office's use of federal and State allocated funding; a determination of whether the existing personnel of the office is adequate to meet the statutory mandate of the office; an evaluation of the efficiency of the office's internal operations, including during a state of emergency; and recommendations to address any organizational deficiencies that may be revealed by the audit. The State Auditor is required by the bill to complete the audit and submit to the Governor and the Legislature a report summarizing the results of the audit within one year of the effective date of the bill.
