This resolution would eliminate the distinction in session length between odd and even years, making all regular sessions up to sixty days long, and it would also remove the restrictions on what can be considered in even-year sessions, allowing them to consider bills for veto overrides from any session within the same two-year legislative period, not just the previous one. The resolution also clarifies that special sessions cannot exceed thirty days. The proposed changes will be put to a vote of the people at the next general election or a prior special election.
