This bill amends existing Arizona law to prevent individuals convicted of a "dangerous crime against children," which is defined in section 13-705 of the Arizona Revised Statutes, from having their probation or intensive probation supervision terminated earlier than originally imposed. It also clarifies that individuals convicted of such crimes are not eligible for earned time credit or work time credit that could reduce their probation period, and these provisions apply to those currently serving or who will be placed on lifetime probation for these offenses on or after the bill's effective date.
