This resolution recognizes Mr. Fred Alexander Sr. for his courageous and extraordinary feat of overcoming a more than 20-year battle with cancer, a disease that tragically claimed the lives of several of his family members. The resolution highlights his deep faith, his active involvement in various ministries and churches, and his loving family, which includes his wife, four children, fifteen grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. It also acknowledges his fulfilling career in fields such as landscaping and electrical supply, and his current enjoyment of restoring antique cars, particularly his 1946 Chevy pickup truck, and watching NHRA drag racing and various sports. The Senate, through this resolution, extends its sincere best wishes for Mr. Alexander's continued health and happiness and directs the Secretary of the Senate to provide him with a copy of this recognition.
