This bill designates the Great Plains Transportation Museum in Wichita as the official Kansas Railroad Hall of Fame to celebrate the state's rich railroad history and the individuals who have contributed to it. This committee will be responsible for annually selecting two individuals for induction into the Hall of Fame based on their significant contributions to Kansas's railroad industry or its heritage, and will manage the Hall of Fame's displays, website, and ceremonies, with members serving without compensation but eligible for expense reimbursement.
