The bill also mandates that electric companies report on their progress in implementing these approved plans, and the Public Service Commission has the authority to approve, conditionally approve, or deny these plans based on their incorporation of cost-saving measures, achievement of load reduction goals, and projected demonstrable cost savings, with penalties for failing to meet the load reduction target.
