This bill, beginning 30 days after its enactment, mandates that the President impose a 30 percent duty on all sheep products and lamb products that originate from Australia or New Zealand, in addition to any other existing duties. For the purposes of this bill, "lamb" is defined as meat from sheep that is not mutton, and a "lamb product" includes anything made wholly or partly from lamb, such as pelts. "Sheep" encompasses ovine animals of any age, including ewes and rams, and a "sheep product" is defined as anything made wholly or partly from sheep, such as wool, with "wool" specifically referring to the fiber from a sheep's fleece.
