This joint resolution commends the Midlothian High School boys' tennis team for their outstanding 2025 season, during which they achieved victory in both the Virginia High School League (VHSL) Class 5 state championship and the VHSL Region 5C championship, notably winning all five matches in both championship events with a 5-0 score. The resolution acknowledges the significant contributions of various players, including senior captain Carter Nelson, doubles partners Jack Swartzwelder and Henry Spiller, undefeated senior Ford Marshall, freshman Liem Bennett-Nguyen, and Finn Brod, as well as other team members and the team manager, for their dedication and positive support. It also recognizes Coach John Dinardi, who was named the 2025 Chesterfield County Coach of the Year, for fostering a team culture of positivity, which contributed to their impressive 20-1 season record, and commends the collective effort of the student-athletes, coach, families, and the school community for this success.
