This bill establishes a new process within Arizona's Department of Education's Division of Special Education to address parent complaints regarding special education services. Furthermore, the Division will be required to submit an annual report to state leadership detailing the number and types of complaints filed, the outcomes of investigations, staffing information for complaint investigators, and any corrective actions taken, all disaggregated by various demographic categories to ensure transparency and accountability in special education services.
