The bill also introduces a provision allowing a driver to continue to a reasonably safe location to stop if stopping immediately would be unsafe, provided they signal their intent and observe the speed limit, and it clarifies that an otherwise lawful arrest is not affected by a driver's failure to comply with these stopping procedures.
