The offenses covered include those where a firearm or dangerous weapon was used, someone was killed or seriously injured, force was used against another person, domestic assault, burglary of specific vehicles, reckless driving, drag racing, or repeat offenses related to assault or property crimes. Additionally, the bill requires the clerk of each court to report monthly to the administrative office of the courts on the number of defendants under GPM orders, and the administrative office will then compile an annual report for legislative committees detailing these numbers by county, with the law taking effect on July 1, 2026.
