It also acknowledges the college's expansion to include schools of dentistry and pharmacy, its establishment as an independent academic health sciences center, and its current structure comprising five major schools dedicated to training future leaders in various health and computational sciences fields, all while continuing its mission under the leadership of President James E.K. Hildreth, Sr.
