This bill amends Tennessee law to clarify the definition of "premises" for alcoholic beverage and beer sales in specific event zones within metropolitan counties of over 500,000 people, as defined by the 2020 census or later. It allows for the consumption of alcoholic beverages and beer outside of regular licensed establishments within these approved event zones, provided the drinks are in specially designed "event-designed to-go cups" purchased from a designated event permit holder and clearly labeled with the selling establishment's name. Only the organization named in the special event zone ordinance and county permit application can sell these specific cups to licensed establishments within the approved event premises. This provision aims to facilitate alcohol consumption at approved events within these defined areas.
