This bill amends existing law to require providers of continuing care retirement communities, which are facilities offering housing, meals, and healthcare services to residents, to pay any contractual entrance fee refund to a resident or their estate within two years of the continuing care agreement being terminated, regardless of whether the resident's unit has been reoccupied by a new resident.
