This bill requires the Department of Information Technology (DIT) to post the Statewide Information Technology Master Plan on its website within one year after each new Governor is inaugurated, instead of the previous six months. If the Secretary of Information Technology cannot meet this deadline, they must notify the Governor and specific committees of the General Assembly within 10 days of the missed deadline, explaining the delay and providing a new publication date no more than three months later. Additionally, the bill mandates that each year the Secretary, or their designee, will brief the General Assembly on the plan's implementation, any significant changes made to it, and how the state plans to manage and deploy the initiatives outlined in the plan across executive branch agencies.
