This joint resolution honors the memory of Robert Chris "Bob" Carroll of Johnson City, recognizing him as an exemplary public servant and professional who dedicated his life to improving his community. Mr. Carroll served in the United States Air Force, worked for the Carter County School System as a bus driver for forty years, and was a constable for the 8th District of Carter County for over five decades, also holding leadership roles in the Tennessee Constable Association. His extensive community service included founding the West Carter County Volunteer Fire Department, working as a courthouse bailiff, organizing a community watch, assisting elderly residents, and volunteering with the Second Harvest Food Bank. He was also a devoted member of his church and fraternal organizations, including the Hampton Masonic Lodge and Jericho Shrine Temple. The resolution expresses sympathy to his family and acknowledges his recent receipt of the Frankie Lax Sr. Award, the Tennessee Constable Association's highest honor, for his leadership and dedication.
