The bill also mandates the Department of State Police, in conjunction with the Department of Disabilities, to develop guidelines and training for law enforcement agencies on using this interface and related protocols, with penalties for non-compliance, and establishes a commission composed of legislative members, state officials, law enforcement representatives, and disability advocates to study and recommend policies for the secure interface, statewide protocols, and training plans, with the commission's provisions set to expire after three years.
