This resolution, passed by the Senate of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, expresses deep sorrow upon the passing of Joseph Hardin McFarland, a distinguished individual who served 28 years in the United States Army, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel, and who later dedicated himself to community service through his church, the Noon Rotary Club, and the Salvation Army, among other organizations. The Senate extends its sincerest condolences to his family and friends, and upon adjourning, will do so in honor and loving memory of Joseph Hardin McFarland, with a copy of this resolution to be sent to his family.
