This resolution honors the Young, Gifted, & Black Entrepreneurial Awards for its dedication to celebrating cultural leadership, global citizenship, and community empowerment, specifically recognizing its presentation of the Global Citizen Icon Award to Oseadeeyo Kwasi Akuffo III. The Young, Gifted, & Black Entrepreneurial Awards, established in 2006, is a nonprofit organization that acknowledges individuals of color making a significant global impact through their leadership and service, emphasizing community and culture. Oseadeeyo Kwasi Akuffo III, the King of the Akuapems (Okuapehene) and 26th occupant of the Ofori Kuma Stool, is being honored for his exemplary stewardship of tradition, commitment to socioeconomic advancement, and leadership within the global African diaspora, as well as his philanthropic work through the Oseadeeyo Kwasi Akuffo Foundation (OKWAF) which supports education, healthcare, and employment initiatives. The resolution also directs that copies of this commendation be sent to both the organization and Oseadeeyo Kwasi Akuffo III.
