This bill amends existing Idaho law to increase various permit and license fees related to alcoholic beverages and to establish a new permit fee for certain charitable events. Specifically, it raises annual license fees for different types of liquor licenses, including those for cities of various population sizes, railroad trains, common carrier boat lines, golf courses, restaurants at airports, and year-round resorts, with phased increases scheduled for July 1, 2027, and July 1, 2028. The bill also increases fees for dealers, transfers of beer licenses, and permits for selling or donating beer for benevolent, charitable, or public purposes. Additionally, it adjusts fees for wine direct shipper permits, importer, distributor, winery, and retailer licenses, as well as for the transfer of wine licenses. A new permit fee of fifty dollars ($50.00) is introduced for individuals or entities seeking to donate packaged, unopened, and sealed liquor for charitable events, with similar fee increases and phased implementation for beer and wine permits for charitable events.
