It also acknowledges the YMCA's current vital role in youth development, healthy living, social responsibility, providing licensed child care, water safety classes, chronic disease prevention programs, and serving as a community economic driver through job creation, emphasizing its commitment to serving people of all ages and backgrounds. Copies of this resolution will be sent to the Chief Executive Officers of the 15 independent YMCA associations in Washington for public display during this anniversary year.
