The resolution highlights his significant roles, such as Chief of Staff to a former DeKalb County Chief Executive Officer, Chief Deputy Commissioner at the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice, Director of the Governor's Office of Highway Safety, and commissioner for housing authorities, as well as his extensive involvement in various civic and community boards focused on education, youth development, housing, and public safety. It acknowledges the numerous honors he received for his lifelong commitment to service and his admirable personal qualities, including integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness, noting that he will be remembered for his love of family, friendship, and community.
