This bill establishes a process for the City of Alabaster to address and abate weed nuisances on private property. It designates a city official as the "enforcing official" who will issue written notices to property owners identifying the nuisance and ordering its removal within 14 days, with a possible extension to 28 days under certain circumstances. Property owners have the option to request a hearing before an "administrative official," who is a separate individual appointed by the city council, to contest the nuisance claim.
