This bill establishes a Prince George's County Workgroup on Farmers Markets and Street Vending Zones, comprised of various local and state officials, community representatives, and law enforcement, to study and recommend a framework for regulating and permitting farmers markets and street vendors. The workgroup will review existing regulations, examine practices in other counties, identify safety, health, environmental, and community concerns, and report its findings and recommendations by December 1, 2026.
