The bill clarifies that if someone threatens such a worker with a deadly weapon while knowing the worker's profession and that they are on duty, with the intent to disrupt the operation of these services, it will be considered aggravated menacing. The bill also specifies that if a person has a prior conviction for aggravated menacing, committing this new offense against these workers will be a felony of the fifth degree.
