This bill amends Section 59-1356 of the Idaho Code, which governs the reemployment of retired members of the Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho (PERSI). Specifically, it changes the date from January 1, 2022, to January 1, 2026, for certain retired members (defined in section 59-1302(27)) who retired after age fifty-five and are reemployed by an employer participating in PERSI, allowing them to elect to continue receiving their retirement benefits without accruing additional service.
