This resolution, originating from the House of Representatives of the General Assembly of the State of Indiana, celebrates the 35th anniversary of Carmel Clay Parks and Recreation. Carmel Clay Parks and Recreation manages extensive parkland and trail networks, provides vital youth enrichment programs in collaboration with local schools, offers a wide array of recreational programs for over 170,000 participants annually, and is recognized for its significant adaptive recreational opportunities. The resolution acknowledges the immense visitor numbers to its parks, exceeding those of Grand Canyon National Park, and highlights the organization's substantial contribution to enhancing the quality of life and making Carmel and Clay Township desirable places to live. Copies of this resolution will be sent to the Director and CEO of Carmel Clay Parks and Recreation.
