This resolution commends the Northern Neck Middlesex Free Health Clinic (NNMFHC) for its over 30 years of service to the Northern Neck and Middlesex communities, providing essential medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services to individuals lacking access to quality care and the ability to afford basic medical costs. Established in 1993 from the efforts of the Northern Neck Health Action Group, the NNMFHC has grown significantly, serving nearly 20,000 individuals and adapting to increasing demand, as evidenced by its provision of over 11,000 patient visits and numerous prescriptions and dental procedures in 2024 alone. The resolution also acknowledges the clinic's successful partnerships with various organizations, including the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, and attributes its success to the dedication of its staff and the generosity of its donors, with the General Assembly expressing admiration for its contributions to the Commonwealth.
