This resolution commends and congratulates the South Panola High School Air Force Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (JROTC) Drone Team for achieving their third consecutive Grand Championship in a single season, a historic accomplishment for the school. The JROTC program is a youth program that trains high school students in leadership and basic military skills, and this drone team specifically competes using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), commonly known as drones. The team's success includes a perfect three-event sweep at the Big JROTC Showdown, placing them in the top 4 nationally among all Air Force JROTC drone programs and the top 50 globally, demonstrating exceptional discipline, teamwork, and strategic skill under the guidance of their instructors.
