This bill would require employers of property service workers, specifically those who predominantly work as janitors, to keep an additional piece of information in their employment records for three years: the email addresses of their employees and all other covered workers. Currently, employers are already required to maintain records of employee names and addresses, along with details about hours worked, wages paid, and ages of minor employees, as part of existing labor laws designed to protect workers in this industry.
