This bill, by making a nonsubstantive change to existing law, modifies the application process for a cemetery broker license. Previously, an application had to be made in writing on "the" form prescribed by the Cemetery and Funeral Bureau, which is the state agency responsible for licensing and regulating cemetery brokers under the Cemetery and Funeral Act. This bill simply changes the wording to require the application to be on "a" form prescribed by the bureau, without altering the fundamental requirement of submitting a written application to the bureau's principal office.
