This concurrent resolution, a formal expression of opinion or sentiment passed by both houses of the Indiana General Assembly, congratulates the Chesterton High School Large Co-ed Cheer team, also known as The Trojans, for winning the Indiana Association of School Principals (IASP) Indiana Cheer Championship. The IASP Indiana Cheer Championship is the official state championship for school cheerleading teams in Indiana, and Chesterton's victory marked their first-ever state championship title in the A/B Time-Out Only Division, achieved after competing against twelve other top teams. The resolution also acknowledges the dedication of the team members and their coaches, Tara Graf, Calla Dolph, Cordie Armstrong, Emma Sieman, and Grant Gilbertson, and recognizes the team's role as ambassadors of school pride who inspire fellow students. Finally, it directs the Secretary of the Senate to send a copy of this resolution to each team member and coach.
