This resolution commends United Faith Christian Ministry for its 25 years of service to the Stafford County community, recognizing its role in providing spiritual growth opportunities and generous outreach. Founded in February 2001 by Bishop Dr. Leonard B. Lacey, who previously served in the Virginia State Police, the ministry has fostered personal relationships with God, developed impactful mission programs, and become a place for healing, life change, and family reconciliation. The resolution also highlights the ministry's promotion of community policing through Bishop Lacey's chaplaincy with the Stafford County Sheriff's Office and other law enforcement agencies, as well as its establishment of the Unity Institute to facilitate theological study and spiritual growth, and directs the Clerk of the House of Delegates to present a copy of this commendation to Bishop Lacey.
