This bill makes it illegal to wear a mask or disguise while committing certain crimes, specifically felonies or misdemeanors like assault, battery, indecent exposure, sexual exploitation of a child, or sexual battery, and adds a penalty enhancement for doing so. This means that if someone is convicted of one of these crimes and was also wearing a mask or disguise, they could face an additional fine of up to $2,500, an additional prison sentence of up to one year, or both, on top of the punishment for the original crime.
