The PELSB is also required to create rules detailing the specifics of this field experience, including which teaching license areas it applies to, what outcomes are expected, ensuring it primarily takes place within a school during the instructional day with opportunities for observation and feedback, and allowing for some flexibility in how programs demonstrate candidates have met the standards. This section of the bill will become effective on July 1, 2026.
